The first place to visit is Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Located in the Centre of Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is a historical place where President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence on September 2nd, 1945 giving birth to Vietnam. To enter the Mausoleum, you will have to join a long queue of locals and tourists at the back door located in Ngoc Ha Street and keep walking in line to the Mausoleum. The mausoleum opens all days except Mondays & Fridays. Remember the tourists are not allowed to bring the cameras inside the mausoleum.



Tran Quoc Pagoda – the oldest temple in Hanoi- 2.5 kilometers away from Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.

Take a tour to Hoan Kiem Lake in the center. Don’t miss a chance to travel on cyclo around the Old quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake and step down any street stall to enjoy extraordinary street foods. Visiting Ngoc Son Temple on Hoan Kiem Lake is another good choice.
