Lotuses are everywhere, covering paddy fields and lining the riverbanks. Some fields in Thap Muoi, Tam Nong and Cao Lanh are devoted to lotus flowers. Visitors feel as if they are poised between heaven and earth, the air resounding with the cries of birds, the splashes of fish and local faint songs.
